Another Disney classic is joining the long list of movies that are getting a live-action remake - Lady and the Tramp!
The Hollywood Reporter claim that Charlie Bean has closed a deal to direct the movie. Charlie is best known for his work on Tron: Uprising and worked as a storyboard artist on Dexter's Laboratory.
However, unlike all of the other live-action remakes such as the Jungle Book and The Lion King to name but a few, this movie won't be getting a theatre release.
Instead, this live-action movie will debut on Disney's digital streaming service, that is due to launch in 2019.
The Hollywood Reporter also state that Chaz Salembier and Jessica Virtue are overseeing the movie. Brigham Taylor will produce it and Andrew Bujalski will do the script.
Disney are planning to release live-action remakes of Mulan, The Lion King and Aladdin in theatres.
