The biggest track of the summer has been banned in Malaysia.

Despacito has reached basically number one in every country and has reached over 400 million views on YouTube alone.

According to reports, the lyrics have caused offense and the track has now been pulled from state owned TV and radio.

CNN Money are reporting that Communications Minister Salleh Said Keruak said 'The song was filled with numerous sexual references and innuendos and thus wholly inappropriate to be aired by our national media outlets for our general public, especially children.'

Earlier in the year, Malaysia made headlines after it attempted to ban Beauty and the Beast due to the fact the remake features a gay kiss. However, after backlash they changed their minds.
