Dancing With The Stars gets even bigger this week as the contestants have the RTE Orchestra backing them on their dance.

Last week comic Fred Cooke was in the show’s dance off.

He was saved to dance another day by all three judges and is really looking forward to dancing to music played out by the live orchestra.
This experience has been everything he has expected it to be and also quite surprising.
All of the training has meant that he is the fittest he has ever been, he’s down a few pounds and thanks to the exhaustion, is sleeping the best he has in ages.
The Lonely Life of a Comic
Being a stand up comic can be quite lonely experience.

Driving to gigs all over the country with no company, and taking to the stage on his own.
The DWTS experience has been very different to that.
He has compared it to being in the Gaeltacht. All involved in the show have become great mates and have great craic.
After the Show
Fred doesn’t want this experience to end any time soon as he doesn’t know what he’ll do with all of his spare time.
One thing he does know is that he has some great material that he has been dying to share on DWTS but it’s not PG friendly, so he can’t wait to put it into his stand up gigs.
