Fya grew up in a rural town that had country music tied to it's roots.
She is a classically trained singer but said she was always drawn to pop music.
She's taken inspiration from the likes of London Grammar and Lana Del Rey.

Fya was planning to release new music last year but it was slightly delayed by the pandemic.
However, she decided she just wanted to get her music out in the world and released her first track White Lies.
She managed to make it work by getting in to studio between lockdowns.
Body was her second release and she said she has plenty more to come too!
