Sustainable fashion is a hot topic at the moment.

However, knowing where to start can be quite daunting.

Taz and Geraldine decided to set up Sustainable Fashion Dublin to help people find their way to a more sustainable lifestyle.

POWERTOTHEPEOPLE Seriously people, we *very literally* have the power in our hands By choosing to: Buy locally Support businesses that engage in sustainable initiatives Reduce the purchases we make from big businesses that are not respecting the people/ places where their products are made ...This is how we can change the direction our planet is heading in! Big businesses react to consumer demand. If we demand better and threaten their profit margins with our changes of consumption, they will have no choice but to follow our lead!

The duo only met each other for the first time last year, when they realised their shared interest.

Since then, they have been running events in Dublin focusing on sustainability in clothing.

They host swap shops, charity shop crawls, DIY workshops in sewing and industry talks.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO... US!!!! This day last year marks the day when we -Taz & Geraldine- first met for that fateful pint in Grogans and decided to join forces! ‍♀️ It's funny, people often assume that we've been lifelong friends. In fact, it was only through a stroke of serendipitous good luck (ie. Geraldine hounding Taz with messages when Taz posted an instastory saying that she wanted to organize a swap shop!
