Peter Andre
Grease the Musical is coming back to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre and both Samantha Mumba (17 – 23 September) and Peter Andre (24 – 28 September) will have a run at being Teen Angel in the show.
Peter told Sarina on Saturday’s Plan B that he is very excited to be getting back onto a theatre stage. The last time he did that was when he was a teenager back in Australia.
Mysterious Girl
In Grease the musical Peter gets to play a teen angel but, in real life, he was a teen idol. He loved those years and doesn’t mind the fact that even though he has done so much over his career, people always want to talk to him about Mysterious Girl.
Over the summer is when it hits its peak as to this day, the song is still being played in clubs. His phone goes mad with videos from people in clubs singing and dancing to the hit song.
Peter's Personal Life
Being in the public eye means that people are interested in his personal life and are always trying to get a piece of him.
This doesn’t bother Peter though. “All I wanted when I moved to Australia (as a child with his family) all I wanted was to be accepted.

When I finally got accepted I couldn’t stop smiling. So when people want a piece of you I think, in the words of Kylie Minogue, “I should be so lucky” because it what it’s what I always wanted.
People look at you and I think it’s something positive. I love it!”
