Responsible pet ownership with the DSPCA
On Saturday's Plan B, Sarina spoke to the DSPCA about how we can best take care of and protect our pets.
According to figures from the Department of Justice, in the past two years, dog-nappings have increased by 50%.
Also, only recently a number of dogs, which had originated in Ireland, were seized in a Scottish port.
On Saturday's Plan B, Head of Education and Media at the DSPCA, Gillian Bird, joined Sarina to tell us how best to avoid these awful situations.
Gillian shared ways we can protect our pets through microchipping and secured living spaces.
She also shared some great tips for those considering getting a dog.
