Before his break, Luke had actually been touring with Picture This at the age of just 16!

However, he decided to take a break to focus on college courses and other projects.

His Dad, who is actually The Script's drummer Glen Power, supported his break as he didn't want him to hit his music career too hard too fast.

His Dad has always been supportive of his music career, however Luke said growing up around a big band like The Script didn't have the impact on his own performances that you might think.

Luke said he still had to battle with himself and convince himself he could get on stage and perform.

With 20 new tracks under his belt, Luke plans to release a new one every month for the foreseeable future.

He's kicking it off with Drinks, which he said is a progression from his acoustic sound into the more electronic sound he wants to pursue.
