The 18-year-old was signed by label Faction Records on the day she left school.
She told Sarina she had just finished her final exam and went straight to her manager to sign the contracts.

Lucy is her first release with Faction Records and tells the story of a love triangle between friends.
She sings about thinking her friend is better than her and stands more of a chance with the love interest, something she feels most teenagers have experienced.
Lauren Ann's music has huge influences of 90s grunge in it, having grown up listening to Nirvana and Muse.

Looking to the next few months, Lauren Ann has her debut EP coming, along with some gigs.
She's been excited to get out playing as it's something she had no experience with before the pandemic.
