Fia has just released her new single Better Days, the first of six new releases to come in 2020.

It’s 5 in the morning, the walls keep talking I wrote this song last summer when things in my life were really up in the air and uncertain. I know things are really weird for everyone right now and I hope you’re all holding up ok. I’ve gone back and forth about releasing new music but this song really helped me at a time when I really needed to know there would be better days ahead so I wanted to share it with you. Better Days is a song about heartbreak, healing and perseverance but has a melody everyone can groove to.

Fia wrote the track while trying to balance a break up, moving house, her music and her full time job.

2019 saw Fia play a packed festival season with performances at Forbidden Fruit, Body & Soul, Indiependence and We've Only Just Begun in Whelan's.

She also played with The Coronas, Wild Youth and LAOISE.

Although gigs are uncertain in the current climate she hopes to get some scheduled in for later in the year.

Fia is currently spending some time at home in Mayo doing more song-writing.
