Elaine Cruz on her experience as a black woman in Ireland
In the aftermath of George Floyd's death, many people around the world began to protest, speak out and share their stories. One of those was Elaine Cruz.
Elaine took to her Instagram to share a video discussing her experience, which then went viral.
Elaine joined Sarina on Saturday's Plan B to share her experience of the past few weeks and growing up as a black person in Ireland.
She discussed white privilege, microaggressions and the questions we should be asking ourselves in the process of better ourselves.

George Floyd
George Floyd died on 25th May after Police Officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for over eight minutes.
Mr. Floyd was repeatedly heard by bystanders telling officers he couldn't breathe.
