At 19 years old Eoin was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Receiving that diagnosis was a shock for Eoin, but 8 years later he says that he has gratitude for his diabetes.

He does have some low days but on the whole, living with diabetes has given Eoin so many opportunites in life that he is thankful for.
