If you're heading to any gigs in Marlay Park this June, give yourself an additional 2 hours of travel time.

That's the advice from festival organisers ahead

Arctic Monkeys, Dermot Kennedy, The Weeknd and Motley Crue and Def Leppard will all perform next month.

Events at the venue last year were met with traffic management complaints.

Melvin Benn - of UK music promoter Festival Republic - says you should give yourself as much time as you would heading to the airport.

His advice, download your tickets before you get to the park - as network and Wifi may not be available.

The first of seven gigs this June kicks off with the Arctic Monkeys, on Tuesday 20th June.

Therese Langan of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council says additional buses will be available from Taylor's on the Grange Road, in Rathfarnham.

A shuttle bus from the closest Luas stop - Dundrum - to Stonemason's Way will be running.

Drug testing

Elsewhere, drug testing tents will not be on site for this summer's concerts at Marlay Park.

Last year, the HSE ran a drug-testing facility at Electric Picnic.

It will return to the Stradbally Festival again this year.
