A woman, aged in her 20s, has died after an assault in Limerick City.
Her body was discovered at a property on Dock Road.
It happened at half one this afternoon.
The woman's remains are still at the scene.
Gardai have preserved it for technical examinations.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
