A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Kellie Harrington's Corinthians Boxing Club.
The gym in Summerhill is looking to raise €30,000 for toilet and shower facilities.
Harrington's Olympic gold medal success has inspired many younger athletes to take up the sport.
There are still no girls' toilets or shower facilities at the north inner city club.

The fundraiser was set up by club member Joe Carabini who says 70 per cent of members are female.
Women have a five by four-foot room to get changed in and have to use the boys' toilets.
The organiser said they'd reach a dead end when it came to seeking government funding.
