COVID-19: 373 New Cases as Official Says Ireland's Pandemic Has Begun To Shrink

A top health official says Ireland's Covid pandemic has begun to shrink.

NPHET today reported 373 new virus cases.

 

Covid deaths, hospitalisations, and admissions to ICU are all falling steadily.

 

Professor Philip Nolan, who chair's NPHET's modelling group, says the situation is very positive.

 

"Over the last 10 days we've seen the pandemic shrink," He said, "We are assure certainly over the last two weeks we're seeing declining case counts, a shrinking pandemic."
