There have been 313 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Ireland today.

There are 70 Covid-19 patients in Irish hospitals - 26 of which are being treated in Intensive Care.

The five-day moving average now stands at 426, compared to 431 yesterday.

The figures remain subject to change, amid the ongoing impact of the cyberattack targeting the HSE.

Some positive vaccine news given today though.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly today said three million Covid-19 vaccines are soon to be administered.

Over half of Ireland's adults have no received at least one dose, and over 40's can now register for the vaccine.

Minister Donnelly said officials are getting the vaccines “out the doors as soon as they come in”, and everyone will be vaccinated as soon as possible.
