The Department of Health has confirmed 183 new cases of Covid-19.
They have been notified of six additional death related to the virus.
Of the cases notified today, 82 are men while 101 are women.
Most people -60% - are aged under 45 years of age.
The median age is 36 years old.
Most cases of Covid-19 are in Dublin, where there are 56 cases.
Elsewhere, there are 26 cases in Donegal, 11 in Kilkenny and 11 in Monaghan.
The remaining 66 cases are spread across 15 other counties.
Meanwhile, there have been 10 additional hospitalisations in the past twenty-four hours.
In total, there 239 Covid-19 patients in hospitals - 32 of whom are in intensive care.
The 14 Day incidence rate is estimated to be 79.7 per 100,00 population.
