COVID-19: 1,098 New Cases As 10,000 Avail Of Walk-In Vaccination Centres

The Department of Health has been notified of 1,098 cases of Covid-19 this afternoon.

 

The figure is a decrease of 329 on yesterday's cases.

 

There are currently 163 Covid-19 patients in hospital - also down.

 

26 of these patients are currently being treated in Intensive Care Units.

 

Meanwhile, Latest figures show that 72.4 percent of adults in Ireland are now fully vaccinated.

 

Compared to our closest neighbor the UK with 72.1 percent.

 

10,000 people have been vaccinated so far this weekend in 20 vaccination centres across the country.

 

Anybody over 16 still waiting on a vaccine can attend a vaccine centre, without an appointment, to receive their first jab until Monday.

 

If you want to avail of the walk-in service before they end tomorrow and have not registered online you will need to bring the following:

 

-PPS Number

-Eircode

-Phone Number

-Email Address

-Photo ID (With date of birth)
