In the clip, a deep voice-over teases, "Next Thursday, guess who's back."

We watch as Addison stands in front of a group of residents at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

"I'm Dr. Addison Montgomery," she says. "And you must be the group that's been screwing up the program."

If you're a massive Grey's Anatomy fan, this line may sound familiar to you.

Do you remember what Addison said to Meredith when they met for the first time in season one?

She said, "I'm Addison Shepherd. And you must be the woman who's been screwing my husband."

The story of Addison Montgomery

Kate made her debut on Grey's Anatomy in the season one finale as Derek Shepherd’s estranged wife.

She soon became a series regular and an all-time fan favourite, despite her role in pulling Meredith and Derek apart.

Two seasons later, Shonda Rhimes created a spinoff series built around her character titled Private Practice.

Kate left Grey's Anatomy in season three, when her character moved to L.A. to start a new chapter in her life.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the Hollywood actress kicked off her show Private Practice.

It ran for a total of six seasons.
