The Goonies reunite in isolation
The cast of The Goonies reunited on Zoom video chat this week!
Frozen's Josh Gad got the gang back together again on his YouTube series Reunited Apart.
And they even re-enacted some iconic moments from the movie.
Sean Astin (Mikey), Corey Feldman (Mouth), Jeff Cohen (Chunk), Martha Plimpton (Stef), Jonathan Ke Quan (Data), Kerri Green (Andy), Josh Brolin (Brand), Robert Davi (Jake Fratelli), and Joe Pantoliano (Francis Fratelli) all featured in the video.
Even executive producer Steven Spielberg, director Richard Donner and screenwriter Chris Columbus joined in on the fun.
The video began with a one on one chat between Mikey actor Sean Astin and Josh Gad.
After a brief chat, Astin asked Gad, "Do you want be to round 'em up?" The host replied, "Yes. Yes. Yesss!"
"Alright how do we do this? Do you guys like zoom or do you send out like a Goonies bat signal up to the sky?"
Reciting an iconic scene from the movie, Astin replied, "The sky? Don't you realise?"
The next time you see sky it'll be in another town. The next time you take a test it'll be in some other school."
"Our parents, they want the best of stuff for us but right now they gotta do what's right for them because it's their time. Their time!"
When the whole team arrived, Gad asked each cast member to reveal what they've been up to in isolation.
Brand actor Josh Brolin joked, "Nothing! What do you mean what have we been doing?"
He added that he's so glad they got to do this before admitting, "I was shaking before we started."
