Saved By The Bell

The first official trailer for NBC's Saved By The Bell reboot is here and it looks so good.

The original series ran from 1989 to 1993 and was a massive success.

And what's even better is that some of the original cast have reprised their roles.

Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are back as A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano.

However, they're no longer Bayside students, they're parents and he's the school gym coach.

You'll be happy to hear Mark-Paul Gosselaar is also back as the iconic Zack Morris - now the Governor of California.

Zack finds himself in hot water after he closes down too many low-income high schools.

So his solution is to send the affected students to the highly recognised schools such as Bayside High.

We get to see the new students mingle with the privileged elite.

The trailer begins with a clip of Slater stepping out onto the school football field.

He's later shown chatting to Jessie, "Remember how much fun high school used to be?"

She responds, "Can you believe that was like 30 years ago?"

Slater is later seen giving a talking to Zack's son Mac and Jessie's son Jamie.

He tells them, "When I was in high school, I constantly used to fight with my best friend over a hot girl."

The coach adds, "Oh, it was actually your dad, over your mom!"

Slater digs the hole even deeper, "Then I just found another girl I really liked and started hooking up with her instead."

He realises, "Oh wait, that was your mom!"
