TRAILER: Normal People's Fionn O'Shea Stars In New Movie Dating Amber

The trailer for Prime Video's new movie Dating Amber dropped this week and it looks so good.

Fionn O'Shea and Lola Petticrew play lead characters Eddie and Amber in the movie.

You might recognise Fionn for his role as Jamie in Normal People.

Set in 90s Ireland, Dating Amber follows the story of two best friends who embark on a fake relationship.

They're doing this in order to avoid questions about their sexuality.

As time goes on, their relationship becomes increasingly difficult.

As per entertainment.ie, the synopsis reveals Eddie is planning on following, 'in his father's footsteps of joining the military.'

While Amber, 'dreams of moving to London, where she feels life will be more liberal then what it is for her at home.'

The movie sees, 'Eddie [go] deeper in denial about his true self and Amber must try and help him before he goes too far.'

Sharon Horgan plays Eddie's mother in the movie. She's best know for her roles in Catastrophe and This Way Up.

While Barry Ward from Netflix's White Lines and The End of the F***ing World plays Eddie's dad Ian.

Normal People

Fionn's Normal People co-stars have been showing his new movie some love online.

Connell actor Paul Mescal retweeted the trailer with the caption, 'Everyone watch this film.'

Fionn's role in Normal People is very different to his role in Dating Amber. 

He played Jamie in the hit BBC show, and managed to make a name for himself as, 'the years greatest villain.'

But his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones can't stress enough how lovely he is in real life, 'The LOVELIEST'

Dating Amber drops June 4th on Amazon Prime Video.
