Normal People

We got a first look at Normal People in November last year.

The book follows the complex lives of Marianne and Connell.

The story begins as both teenagers attend the same secondary school in Sligo.

Connell is  handsome, successful and popular while Marianne is a total outcast.

This flips when both are accepted into Trinity College and start new lives in Dublin.

The book follows the pair as the grow close and grow distant, but continue to be pulled back into each other's lives through a number of traumas.

Playing Marianne is Daisy Edgar-Jones.

The 21-year-old actor was born and raised in London and has previously appeared in Cold Feet and War of the Worlds.

Mescal's previous experience is theater based.

Normal People airs on BBC Three this April.

Filming dates for Conversations With Friends are TBA.
