Robert Downey Jr. could reprise his role as Iron Man

Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly in talks to reprise the role for a new TV series.

Disney are set to launch their new streaming service Disney+ later this year.

According to We Got This Covered, the actor's in talks to play Iron Man in the new Ironheart series.

Tony Stark gave up his life at the end of Avengers: Endgame in order to save the universe.

So technically he should be dead but the MCU always have a way of bringing our favourite heroes back to life.

We were first introduced to Riri when Stark was in a coma during Civil War II.

She stepped up to the plate to save the world while the hero was struggling to survive.

Stark gave Riri her very own A.I for her bravery in his absence.

The comics were only launched last year and it wasn't until earlier this summer that they introduced the character at a gala.

It was agreed that the superhero deserved a place in the Marvel universe following the death of Stark.
