Riverdale pay tribute to Luke Perry
Luke Perry played Fred Andrews in Riverdale however, he sadly passed away earlier this year.
The cast will pay tribute to the actor in the first episode of season four.
Mädchen Amick revealed they've already started on the new season.

Mädchen plays Betty's mother Alice in the series and she shared a photo on Instagram in tribute to Luke.
The whole cast can be seen sitting around a wooden table with scripts for episode one sitting in front of them.
'There was nothing but love, memories and mourning for our beloved Luke as we honor him in our first episode back.'

Luke Perry
Luke Perry died on 4th March this year aged 52.
He was hospitalised at the beginning of March following a stroke and never recovered.

The cast of Riverdale paid their respects with individual Instagram posts.
Cole Sprouse gushed over Luke in an interview with Busy Philipps shortly after his death.
"He is a person I have never heard a single bad thing said about which is an incredibly impressive thing the longer you're in this."

Season 3
Luke's death came towards the end of season three.
Show creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacas told The Hollywood Reporter in May that he didn't want to rush the process.

He said, 'We wanted to honour Luke, and figure out the best way to handle the character of Fred Andrews in the show, so we sort of said, 'You know what? Let's not squeeze, let's not rush to squeeze something into the finale, or into the last couple of episodes.''
'Let's really think about it, and let's tell that story at the beginning of season four.'
