This is the second time the movie's release has been pushed back, and fingers crossed it's the last.

It was originally due out in May this year, but it was delayed until November due to the global pandemic.

The movie will now premiere May 7th 2021, a little over a year after it was originally scheduled to open.

This latest turn of events means 2020 will be the first calendar year since 2009 that an MCU movie hasn't been released.

The decision to push back the Black Widow release until next year has also affected other schedules.

The Eternals is moving from February 12th 2021 to November 5th, according to The Verge.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was due out May 7th 2021, but it will now drop July 9th instead.

The release schedule for a number of upcoming Disney movies have been affected too.

These include the West Side Story remake and The King’s Man.
