Now You See Me 3
Lionsgate have confirmed plans for a Now You See Me 3 and we're so excited.
They've announced American screenwriter Eric Singer will write the script for the third movie.
And it's believed they're giving the original cast the opportunity to reprise their roles.

As per Deadline, President of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Nathan Kahane made the announcement yesterday.
He shared the news alongside President of Motion Picture Production for the studio, Erin Westerman.
In a statement, Kahane gushed over how Eric is the perfect fit for the new movie.
Not only did he co-write American Hustle, but he also worked on the upcoming Top Gun sequel.
Kahane said the writer, 'has always been fascinated with the fine art of deception and illusion in all of its forms...'
Before revealing that Eric's idea for the new movie, 'pushes The Four Horsemen to a whole new level.'

Kahane said, 'The Now You See Me franchise has been built on keeping the audience surprised and guessing.'
He added, 'Any great magician knows, you can’t keep doing the same tricks.'
'And Eric and his team of illusionists have something special up their sleeve for this new film.'
Casting
According to Deadline, the casting hasn't yet been announced.
However, it's believed they will of course be introducing some brand new characters.
And they'll also be, 'creating opportunities for the original cast to reprise their roles.'

Now You See Me
The Now You See Me franchise was a massive success and ran for two movies from 2013 to 2016.
It featured an all-star cast including Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and more.
It follows the story of a team of talented illusionists called The Four Horsemen.
They stage magic shows where they manage to drain the bank accounts of the corrupt.
The Four Horsemen then reward their audience members with the money.

Of course, the authorities take it upon themselves to stop the performers before their next stunt.
An FBI agent played by Mark Ruffalo sets off on a mission to catch the magicians.
However, it's much harder than you'd think.
We can't wait to see what's next for The Four Horsemen!
