True History Of The Kelly Gang
Even though George MacKay could not grow a legendary beard like that of Ned Kelly, he is still outstanding as Australia's most famous bushranger, in True History of the Kelly Gang.
George told Sarina on Saturday's Plan B that he substituted a mullet for the beard and how performing in a punk rock band with his cast mates set the tone for the film.
George also said that the role of Ned prepared him for that of 1917's Schofield. He revealed what the whole 1917 experience was like - from making it to all of the award winning celebrations that came after release.
