A docuseries about Armie Hammer's family

Armie Hammer's aunt, Casey, is reportedly working on a documentary series about the Hammers.

According to Deadline, she's set to share family secrets.

The outlet say she's signed an exclusive deal with Talos Films to develop the series.

It will tell, 'the definitive, inside story of the rise and fall of the notorious Hammer family, including its latest unfolding chapter.'

It's understood the project is currently being pitched to broadcasters and streamers.

Talos Films co-founders Elli Hakami and Julian P. Hobbs released a statement to Deadline.

'The Hammer family history is like Succession on steroids,' they said.

'A dysfunctional dynasty with its male characters exhibiting all the devastating consequences of privilege gone wild.'

'Now, for the first time, Casey Hammer will tell not just her story, but the definitive family history, leaving no stone unturned.'

'With new unfolding revelations and present-day consequences, this mini-series will provide audiences with a riveting journey into a family where reputation is everything and where things are never how they appear.'

This won't be the first time Casey has shared personal details about her family life.

In 2015, she released a book titled Surviving My Birthright, where she made a number of shocking revelations.

Deadline report she's now estranged from most of her family, and works as a kitchen designer at a San Diego Home Depot.

Accusations against Armie

News of this new documentary series comes months after Armie Hammer was accused of sexual assault.

He's currently being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department over the accusation, as per People.

Armie started trending online earlier this year after alleged leaked messages from the star emerged.

According to Page Six, the explicit texts described disturbing sexual fantasies of cannibalism, which have not been verified by us.

It wasn't long after this that he pulled out of a number of projects.

In a statement, Armie branded these claims, 'bulls**t,' and announced his departure from the new J.Lo movie, Shotgun Wedding.

As quoted by Deadline, he said, 'I’m not responding to these bulls**t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.'

No further details on the docuseries have been revealed.
