Disney is planning another Herbie reboot but this time, the car is taking to the small screen.
According to TV Line, a new spin-off series following the adventures of the Volkswagen Beetle is in the early stages of development and will air on Disney XD.
It's reported bosses haven't yet decided whether the lead child will be a boy or a girl but the potential series is said to be written by Travis Braun, the writer behind Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Herbie first appeared in The Love Bug movie back in 1968 and since then has been adapted both on the large and small screens, including Lindsay Lohan's Herbie: Fully Loaded in 2005.
