Lord Of The Rings TV Series In The Works

The Lord of the Rings trilogy was released in the early 2000s. 

Now it's being reported that a television series is in the works. 

Variety report that Amazon studios are reportedly the front-runner to bring the classic fantasy novel to the small screen.

However we will have to wait a while as the series is a long way from being officially announced, and there's no writer or director on board yet.
