MAC announced back in October that it would be teaming up with New York based womenswear and accessories designer Proenza Schouler to create a limited edition make-up range. There's now only days until the new collection arrives in Brown Thomas.
The limited-edition collection includes 6 product ranges; ombre blush (€30), lipsticks (€22), eye liners (€21), lip pencils (€21), nail polishes (€17.50) and a powder brush (€38.50) - (prices are approximations).
The packaging on the products is possibly one of the most eye-catching we've seen yet; ombre purple, green and yellow metalics - a style statement in itself. It appears to be based on previous Proenza Schouler collections.
Speaking about the immenent collection release, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the duo behind Proenza Schouler, said "We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the MAC brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision".
In response, MAC's creative director and senior vice president James Gager said, "I have always respected Jack and Lazaro's keen vision and point of view. We've worked together backstage creating beauty looks for their runway shows for many years and it has been fascinating to me watching them evolve".
Now, let us get our hands on it so we can try out these gorgeous beauties!
