Plan B's Favourite Things
Irish DJ John Gibbons caught up with Sarina Bellissimo on SPIN 1038's Plan B last weekend.
He shared all his favourite things from TV shows to books.
TV Show
John says he loves the show Utopia and is currently re-watching it.
He described it as, "Chilling in a strange kind of way," admitting it's his, "favourite TV show."
Favourite Book
John's favourite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
"I think anybody can pick up no matter what they're into and find something in it everytime they read it."
Favourite Album
John admits there's one album he comes, "back to time, and time, and time again," - Zooropa by U2.
He said it was the first time he heard U2 experimenting with electronic music.
Favourite Film
John said his favourite film is The Truman Show because he feels, "There's a lot of truth in the movie."
He said, "The best movies, the best books and the best songs are something that have a message no matter how hidden or buried it might be in the kind of surface context and I think there's a lot of that in The Truman Show."
Favourite App
John's favourite app is Instagram, however, lately he finds himself using Zoom a lot (don't we all!).
The DJ said Instagram is a great way for him to get his music out there and connect with his fans.
