Westlife Set To Play Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh Next Summer

Westlife have just announced they'll play Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh on 28th August next year.

Tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday at 9am.

The announcement follows the success of this summer's Twenty Tour.

They sold out a record 600,000 tickets across 27 cities and 13 countries for the tour. 

That also includes two sold out shows at Croke Park in Dublin.

The boys confirmed the news at a media conference in Cork this morning.

It'll be the first time, in the band’s 20-year career, that they headline Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium.

Tickets from €59.50 including booking fee go on sale this Friday 20th September at 9am.

Meanwhile, their new album Spectrum which is co-written by Ed Sheeran will be released on Friday 15th November.
