Jenelle Evans regains custody
Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has regained custody of her 4-year-old son Kaiser and her 2-year-old daughter Ensley.
Following a weeks long legal battle, Jenelle says she, 'was in shock but bursted out into tears immediately!'

Ensley had been living with her mother Barbara who also has permanent custody of Jenelle's 9-year-old Jace.

In a statement to Champion Daily, Jenelle says she was in shock at the judges ruling.
'When the judge said her decision it was so “matter-of-fact” tone and blunt that I was in shock but bursted out into tears immediately!'

Her husband David sat next to her and she said they, 'immediately began to hug each.'
'I’m extremely overwhelmed that it’s over and didn’t expect it to be.'
'I thought I would have to go another holiday without my kids and I don’t! I feel blessed.'

The children
Jenelle explains what will happen with the children going forward.
'Jace will remain with my mom, normal schedule every other weekend visits and 2 week visits on school breaks.'

Meanwhile, 'David has full primary custody,' over his daughter Maryssa who will also see her mother every other weekend.
Kaiser will be returned to Jenelle and will also get visits from his father Nathan Griffith, 'every other weekend at Nathan’s moms house.'
What happened?
At the beginning of May Jenelle's husband David allegedly shot their family dog.
While Jenelle claimed none of her children witnessed the event, E! News report her 4-year-old son Kaiser told school counselors about the incident.
Kaiser was removed from the home during the second week of May and placed in the custody of his father.

Jenelle and David's 2-year-old daughter Ensley remained in their custody for a time, but was later removed to the care of Barbara.
Jenelle's mother was already taking care of 9-year-old Jace.
She has raised him since birth and was granted permanent custody in 2017.
As a result, Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2.
She admitted she was 'a little bit shocked' but saw it coming.
David was fired from the show last February following a string of homophobic comments on Twitter.
