Actor Luke Perry suffers a stroke

Luke Perry is in hospital following a stroke.

Multiple reports say paramedics were called to Perry's LA home on Wednesday morning.

His condition remains unknown however, a rep for the actor told the BBC he, "is currently under observation at the hospital."

E! News are reporting that Perry is not in a coma.

Perry is known for playing Fred Andrews on Riverdale.

The BBC are reporting that he was shooting scenes for the hit show on the day he became unwell.

He originally found fame as Dylan McKay on the 1990s drama Beverly Hills 90210.

Coincidentally, a reboot of the show was announced on Wednesday although Perry wasn't confirmed for the new series.

Perry's 90210 co-stars have been sharing their well wishes on social media.
