Looks like a meme can now lead to a Hollywood movie!
It's being reported that Rihanna, Lupita Nyong'o, Ava DuVernay and Issa Rae have all signed up to play leads in a heist movie that began it's life with a viral Tumblr post.
It's reported that after a "dramatic" negotiation at the Cannes Film Festival, the movie will be coming to Netflix with production rumoured to start in 2018!
So where did this all come from you ask? Well, back in July 2014, Tumblr user elizabitchtaylor posted a photo of Rihanna and Lupita at the Miu Miu Fashion show, and it quickly went viral.
She captioned it, “They look like they’re in a heist movie with Rihanna as the tough-as-nails leader/master thief and Lupita as the genius computer hacker.”
And there we have it, her post is now being turned into a real-life movie! We can't wait to see this!
