S-Town is the first, official Serial podcast spin-off and is promised to be just as captivating.
If you have been eagerly waiting to help solve another murder ever since Serial season one and the mystery of who killed Hae Min Lee wrapped up in December 2014, now is your chance.
Presenter Sarah Koenig will be replaced by Brian Reed who will investigate some unusual goings-on in a small American town. An intro on the S-Town website reads:
"John despises his Alabama town and decides to do something about it. He asks a reporter to investigate the son of a wealthy family who's allegedly been bragging that he got away with murder. But then someone else ends up dead, sparking a nasty feud, a hunt for hidden treasure, and an unearthing of the mysteries of one man's life."
Murder, hidden treasure, mystery and if that isn't compelling enough, we don't have to wait week after painful week for the next episode, as all eight are being released tomorrow. Sick day anyone?
