Love Island's Molly & Callum open up

Love Island's Molly and Callum sit down for a chat with Closer this week about their time on the show.

They talk about the application process, getting told off by producers and life outside the villa.

Callum reveals he actually applied for last year's summer series, "I nearly got in that one."

However, they turned him down because it was, "Just a bit too late."

"They said, "I'll give you a ring back for something we might have coming up in a few months.""

The former Islander admits he had an idea the phone call would be for the winter series.

"They rang me back and they had to go through the application process again and I got lucky."

His partner Molly adds, "It's actually quite a while isn't it? To keep that secret..."

Molly admits she actually applied for the summer series last year as well.

However, she turned it down because she ended up getting a boyfriend.

Luckily for Callum it didn't work out between them and she applied for the winter series.

The couple are asked about the first time they cried in the villa.

Callum insists he didn't actually cry in the villa at all however, Molly begs to differ!

She reminds him about the time he welled up during a conversation with Finn on his last day.

First impressions

When asked their first impressions of each other, Molly admits she thought Callum was, "arrogant."

She defends herself, "You wasn't very like open and stuff!"

Callum admits he remembers the first time he saw Molly, "Yeah it was good, good impressions."

The pair are asked about the first time they got told off by producers on the show.

Callum recalls, "It might have been because we had too many drinks."

Molly chimes in, "Shock. Shock." He defends, "I didn't actually have too many drinks."

She asks him how many he had one night and he coyly confesses, "Eight."

Callum defends himself saying nobody wanted to drink so he didn't want it going to waste.

Molly reveals Callum used to sneak into the larder and steal the drink.

She admits she got told off once because she couldn't stop laughing in bed.

When asked about their first date outside the villa, they reveal they went for drinks and food.
