Julia Roberts has addressed her famous red carpet photo.
At the 'Notting Hill' premiere in 1999 a photo of the actress on the red carpet went viral after it was spotted that she hadn't shaved her armpit.

Many believed this was intentional and perhaps a statement in support of feminism.
Roberts has since admitted in an interview with Busy Philipps on E! that it was not a statement but that it was "just part of the statement [she] make[s] as a human on the planet."
