Frankie Jonas Admits He Was Suicidal From A Young Age & Struggled With Drinking

The youngest Jonas brother, Frankie Jonas, has become TikTok famous in the last year.

His videos are usually very funny, so that's why his latest post came as a bit of a surprise to many.

While answering a fan question, the social media star revealed he was suicidal from a young age.

Frankie was asked by a fan if he would be willing to share his story, after she quoted him previously saying he's a, 'sober drug addict.'

He began by saying, "This is by no way the eloquent explanation I hope to one day give on a much more serious mode than this."

"However, from a very young age, I struggled with drinking and drugging as an escape because I hated life and I didn't wanna be here."

"After many years of trying to kill myself accidentally, it came to a point where I was gonna do it for real."

"And something intervened and my life was saved," the 20-year-old continued.

"I went to treatment and it saved me."

Frankie went on, "I couldn't be more grateful for the fact that I'm alive today because my world has changed so beautifully and so astronomically, and I'm not that person anymore."

"I couldn't be more grateful that I'm alive and happy today."

TikTok

Over the last year, Frankie has become a massive TikTok star with over 1.9 million followers on the platform.

In a TikTok video, Nick Jonas implied he doesn't want Frankie in the band because he'll show them up with his popularity.

During a chat on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Nick admitted he's proud of his brother's success on the platform.

"I think it's amazing. He's always had a really unique sense of humour and a unique voice," the singer gushed.

"He's the star. We're all just Frankie's brothers now."
