David Beckham addresses his son's engagement news
David Beckham has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to his son Brooklyn following his engagement news.
The budding photographer got down on one knee two weeks ago and asked Nicola Peltz to marry him.
And of course, she said yes!
David tagged his wife Victoria, his son Brooklyn and his son's new fiancée Nicola in a congratulatory Instagram post.
The former English footballer wrote, 'Congratulations to these two beautiful people.'
'As they begin this exciting journey together we are so so happy for you guys.'

Victoria also shared her excitement on her Instagram account.

The announcement
Brooklyn announced their engagement on Instagram over the weekend.
He wrote, 'Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx'
'I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day.'
Meanwhile, Nicola also took to her own Instagram to share the news with her 1.8m followers.
She wrote, 'you’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side.'
