We hope this isn't your favourite song.

Adele has said she won't be performing one of the songs from her new album, 30.

She confessed on the Spout podcast that To Be Loved is too emotional for her to ever perform live.

It's one of the songs that has drawn the most praise for Adele because of her honesty in the lyrics.

In the song, she sings "To be loved and love at the highest count / Means to lose all the things I can't live without / Let it be known that I will choose to lose / It's a sacrifice, but I can't live a lie."

To Be Loved

Speaking about the song, Adele said "I have one called To Be Loved which is [the song] just before the last one.

"I’ve only really sung it a few times and definitely can’t even really listen to it without getting emotional.

"So I will not be performing that one live."

30

Adele's new album, 30, came out last week and it looks at her emotions as she goes through a divorce.

Chatting on The Q, she said she hopes that it will provide comfort to others who are struggling with similar emotions.

Adele said, "I was doing everything I could to survive in life," but went on to say she put in a lot of hard work to help her feel safe again.

She knew it would always take time and tried not to pressure herself feel better on a deadline.

My Little Love

Adele has also opened up about how she thinks her son Angelo will go through phases of hating My Little Love.

The song features snippets of her chatting with her nine-year old son. At one point, she tells him that she doesn't always know what she's doing.

"I was trying to be clear with him and honest with him, but it was intense," she said.

"He'll probably go through stages of hating it when he’s a teenager and stuff like that.

"But it was an important part of the puzzle I was trying to figure out of my life — not the album — so I had to include it."
