The 5 Best things to do in Dublin THIS weekend thanks to James Kavanagh!

1) Spraoi ar an Straid, This weekend @ Moore Street
Moore Street is coming alive with the Moore Street Party - Spraoi ar an Sráid on Sunday, 22nd October, from 12 noon to 5pm. Hosted by Ardmhéara Mícheál MacDonncha and Dublin City Council, visitors will experience the spirit of bygone days as we honour the extensive past and potential future of one of Dublin’s best loved streets with ceol agus craic. 2) Tayto Park's Morbid Manor, this weekend @ Tayto Park
Tayto's terrifying Morbid Manor is BACK, and it opens to the public this weekend. "An old manor stands abandoned... people fear this place, they fear what they may find inside, for a history of violence runs through its blood stained walls. Rumour has it that people have disappeared inside its walls. The stories of its past speak of pure evil, hidden rooms and murder. It is a place of death and once you step inside, there is nooooo escape!" Tickets and more info: http://www.taytopark.ie/events/morbid-manor

3) Virgin Chapel, today @ South King's Street
Congrats to Spin's Nathan O'Reilly and his flamingo wife Feryn on their marriage today in the Virgin Media Ireland Chapel on South King Street! Come down & get yourself hitched to get a €20 JustEat voucher and find out all about their 30day No-Strings Contracts.

4) This Was Our Scene, this weekend @ 5 Dame Lane
The first exhibition of this collection, "This Was Our Scene", features images of the after parties, venues, dance floors, stages, and backstages of the 00’s London Indie music scene. Individuals pictured include Frank Turner, Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, Amy Winehouse, Dan Smith (Bastille), and many others, although the scene was about far more than the spotlight. Nolan captured it like no one else and from every imaginable angle, but most of all, from the inside. More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1827638007545210

5) Dublin Human Rights Festival, Saturday @ Science Gallery
Ideal for anyone who wants to start dabbling in activism. "Come celebrate activism and advocay with human rights activists from around the world here in Dublin! Join us for workshops and panels on LGBTI activism, the dangers of defending land rights, cybersecurity for activists, ripping down the patriarchy, and even some fun with Clowns Without Borders! We'll have stalls by OhMyDays (body printing), Our Table (recipes from the pop-up kitchen run by volunteers in direct provision) and information on human rights volunteering with PBI Ireland."
