Here are the five BEST things to do in Dublin this weekend! Follow James on Snapchat, @JamesKSnaps

1) Yestival, Friday @ District 8

It's two years since Ireland said YES, and This Is Pop Baby & Mother don't want anyone to forget it. Join a legions of YES celebrators as they dance into the wee hours in the deadly location of District 8. It's like being at a mini summer music festival right in the city. I've gone every year, it's brilliant fun. Expect dance trucks & glitter cannons. Music on the night from: Scotty the Blue Bunny, Bourgeois & Maurice, Lucy McCormick: Triple Threat, Lockie Chapman & Timmy Matley, The She

2) Skerries Traditional Music Festival, Friday - Sunday, Skerries

I think Irish music is totally having a moment, what with Seo Linn and others breathing some fresh air into it, and approaching it with a contemporary twist. If this floats yer boat, head along to the Skerries Traditional Music Weekend; it's an action-packed Weekend with concerts, recitals, workshops, sessions and street music. 3) Docklands Summer Festival, Saturday & Sunday @ Grand Canal Basin

If you're into water sports (lol), then you'll be into this. Think high-speed boat chases, water skiing etc. A perfect thing to just to along to and get lost at. "The Dublin Dockland’s will play host to the Dockland’s Summer Festival on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st May. Organised by Waterways Ireland and The Docklands Business Forum and supported by Dublin City Council, expect a unique celebration along Grand Canal Dock with a jam packed programme of entertainment and family fun on both the land and water." 4) Africa Day, Sunday @ Farmleigh Estate, Phoenix Park

This is always SO much fun, free & delicious! "Africa’s rich culture will be showcased on the day through performances by well-known African and Irish performers including Kíla, AikJ, Discovery Gospel Choir, Yankari and Pop Dogg, across three stages of live music. The event will also feature children’s entertainment, traditional African drumming and dance workshops, African arts and crafts, sports activities and much more." 5) Vogue Workshop, 23rd of May @ Charlottes Love

I know this is next Tuesday, but it needs a mention because A) it's brilliant and B) it will be over by the time I'm in next Thursday, so listen up. Have you ever wanted to learn to vogue like Madonna and all the amazing dancers of the 80s? This three hour Vogue workshop will be led by Joshua Hubbard the highly creative artist, chreographer and Mother of House of Decay. Joshua has worked with artists such as Elton john, Rita Ora and Years & Years, MNEK, Will Young, Young Fathers to name just a few, as-well as his work with GQ and VOGUE.
