Yesterday saw HealthFest 2017 return to the RDS for the second year running and the Spinis went down to check it out.
The one day, free event aims to promote the importance of healthy food to transition year students and their teachers through engaging talks and cookery demonstrations.
On the day we heard from a number of speakers including dietitian Orla Walsh, chef Adrian Martin and nutritionist Dr. Caroline O'Donovan.
Students learned about the importance of healthy eating and physical exercise in their day-to-day lives but it wasn't all about listening, we all got to try our hands at hula hooping and yoga!
