Here are three brilliant programmes you can get stuck into this week:
1) The World’s Most Expensive Presents – Tuesday at 9pm on Channel 4
A ballgown for your dog that will set you back £40,000 - that’s just one gift on this programme. The series goes behind closed doors to meet the craftsmen and women who make lavish gifts for the world's richest people. It explores the Christmas extravagance of people whose money-to-sense ratio has slipped wildly out of control and promises to be an eye-boggling watch.
2) El Chapo Season 2 – on Netflix from Friday December 15th
If you’ve finished Narcos for now and need something to fill the gap – this is it. El Chapo is an American crime series, about the life of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán. It recounts his beginnings in the 1980s, when he was a low-level member of a Mexican Cartel, his rise to power as head of the Sinaloa Cartel, and his downfall.
3) The Late Late Show – Friday, RTE One from 9:35pm
We know it's only Monday but trust us, you'll want to stay in for this. The one and only Ed Sheeran is going to be on the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy this Friday. He's going to perform his single ‘Perfect’ as well as talk about picking up his MBE, and what fans can expect from his upcoming Irish tour. Of course, the last time Ed was on with Ryan was back in 2014, when this happened on the Toy Show.
