This is the first time the trio have reunited since the Bake Off moved to Channel 4, they're getting together for a good cause. They're heading to Wales to help a village who has had a tough year- the local school and post office has shut down so they come together to help restore their community hall and give them a Christmas they won't forget!

 * Gogglebox 2017- Channel 4 at 9pm

Highlights from Gogglebox this year, essentially a year of TV in review with all our favourite Gogglebox cast members!

* Bridget and Eamon Christmas Special, RTÉ2 at 8.45pm

Bridget works out that with the widow’s pension and life assurance Eamon would be worth more dead than alive. So she fakes his death but Eamon can’t resist going to his own wake.

* Frozen- RTÉ 2 at 18.55pm

We literally couldn't think of a more perfect way to spend Christmas Eve than putting on your PJs, lighting the fire and settling down to the magic of Frozen!

Any fans of First Dates will love this festive special- Maitre D Fred and celebrate an incredible year at the first dates restaurants which will see couples from during the year return - there was even a First Dates baby born this year! There will of course be some singletons returning for a chance to find love under the mistletoe!

We always love Alan Carr's Xmas specials! This year he has Noel Gallagher, Lorraine Kelly, Rob Beckett and Googlebox starts Giles and Mary on the show. Music performances from Dua Lipa, Adam Lambert and Kasabian.

* Brooklyn, RTÉ 1 at 9.35pm

Brooklyn starring Saoirse Ronan and Domhnall Gleeson and winner of several awards was one of our favouite movies released last year. This is the perfect post-dinner movie to watch with a cuppa and a tin of Roses.

St Stephen's Day - December 26th

*Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Channel 4 at 9pm

One of our favourite annual festive programmes is back! Quizmaster Jimmy Carr quizzes teams made up of comedians on the biggest events of 2017. Guests this year include: Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding, David Mitchell, Big Narstie, Katherine Ryan and Roisin Conaty.

* Little Women, BBC One at 8pm

We loved the version of this with Kirsten Dunst as a kid and now there is a new BBC adaptation of Louisa Alcott's novel just in time for Christmas! This is a three part series that will run Dec 26/27/28th. It stars Angela Lansbury, Kathryn Newton as Amy (Big Little Lies), Maya Hawke (Uma Thurman's daughter), Willa Fitzgerald as Meg (Royal Pains) and Anne Elway as Beth (King Arthur).
