The most expensive dress in the world has gone on display in San Francisco this week.

The gown, which was famously worn by Marilyn Monroe when she sung Happy Birthday to President John F. Kennedy in 1962, is worth $4.8 million (just over €4 million).

The dress received the official Guinness World Record last year and now resides in Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum in the Californian city.

It will be on display until 5th September if you're planning a spontaneous trip.
